PhD in ichthyology (University of Edinburgh, 2015). Thesis on the evolution and behaviour of cichlids in lakes Malawi, Tanganyika and Victoria. Fieldwork in East Africa (2013–2018), 12 peer-reviewed publications.

At Goldie she reviews compatibility, biotope and cichlid-behaviour content. Her position: 80% of aggression issues are solved by choosing the right tankmates and zoning the tank correctly.
