Pros and cons

  • Grows almost anywhere — even in cold water
  • Soaks up huge amounts of nitrate
  • Ideal fry shelter
  • No roots — easy to move
  • Can 'shed' — small fragments drop to the bottom
  • Blocks light from other plants
  • Has no roots — can't be anchored decoratively

Description

Has no roots — drifts in the water column. One of the toughest species: tolerates cold, hard water, no fertilization.

Care

Just drop it in the water. You can weigh down the bottom end if desired, but it's not necessary.

FAQ

Можно ли посадить роголистник в грунт?
Нет, у него нет корней. Это плавающее растение. Можно закрепить грузом на дне для эстетики.
