Description

Silver arowana — a large predator up to 90 cm long, known as 'monkey fish' for leaping after prey. Only for serious hobbyists with huge tanks.

Care

Tank from 1000 L, length at least 2 m. Heavy, tightly fitted lid — they jump powerfully. Warm soft water, strong filtration.

Feeding

Feed pieces of fish, shrimp, mice (for adults). Juveniles take bloodworm and earthworms.
