Description

Congo tetra — a large characid from Africa. Males show iridescent scales and long flowing fins; females are plainer.

Care

Long tank 100+ cm, soft slightly-acidic water, dense planting on the sides, open swimming space in the middle.

Feeding

Flakes, frozen cyclops and bloodworm, medium pellets. They appreciate variety.
