Description

An African electro-receptive fish with a trunk-like extension of the lower jaw. Highly intelligent — recognizes its keeper and plays with objects.

Care

Soft sandy bottom (for trunk digging), hides. Doesn't tolerate other elephantnose conspecifics.

Feeding

Live/frozen bottom foods: bloodworm, tubifex. Ignores dry food.
