Description

Flying fox — a golden-and-black mid-size 'shark'. Often confused with SAE; identifies by reddish fins with white edge.

Care

One per 150+ L with plenty of cover. Territorial but less aggressive than red-tail sharks.

Feeding

Omnivore: pellets, bloodworm, spinach leaves. Juveniles eat algae eagerly, adults less so.
