Description

The first tropical fish brought to Europe (1869). Extremely hardy, can live unheated. One male per tank.

Care

From 60 L, dense planting to shelter females (if paired). Always cover the tank — labyrinth fish jump.

Feeding

Predator: bloodworm, brine shrimp, small fish, betta-style pellets. Omnivorous but prefers meat.
