Description

SAE — the only fish that actually eats black beard algae (Audouinella). The best biological algae control in a community tank.

Care

Group of 4–5. Don't confuse with false flying fox (Garra cambodgiensis) — the real SAE has one unbroken black stripe.

Feeding

Juveniles eat algae eagerly; adults often switch to pellets. Keep hungry — dry food 2–3 times per week.

Compatibility

FAQ

Один SAE справится с водорослями?
Нет, нужно 4-5 особей в стае. Одиночный SAE становится территориальным и ленится есть водоросли.
