Description
L046 — the most famous 'premium' pleco with black-and-white striped pattern. Endemic to Rio Xingu, threatened by dams in the wild.
Care
Tank 100+ L with ceramic tubes, soft acidic water 26–30 °C, strong oxygen-rich flow. Likes darkness and caves.
Feeding
NOT a herbivore (despite the pleco myth!). Feed shrimp, bloodworm, dedicated carnivore-pleco pellets.
